Calmare® Pain Therapy
An FDA-cleared, non-invasive, drug-free therapy for chronic neuropathic and oncologic pain — proven to reduce pain in 80% of patients in clinical trials.
Calmare® Pain Therapy is a revolutionary, non-invasive, non-narcotic treatment for severe, chronic, high-intensity neuropathic pain, failed back surgery syndrome, low back pain, oncologic pain, and lumbar or cervical radiculopathy that has resisted opioids and nerve pain medications. Calmare® uses a biophysical rather than biochemical approach: a “no-pain” signal is transmitted to the affected nerves through disposable surface electrodes, replacing the pain signal traveling along the same pathway. During treatments, pain is often eliminated regardless of intensity, and with subsequent sessions the pain typically diminishes and ultimately disappears in a high percentage of cases. Interventional Spine and Pain is a certified Calmare treatment center and one of the first practices in Texas to offer this therapy.
